Teeth in Dentures? Do You Make Them?

A popular question I get asked all the time is, " So... do you make my teeth in the back of your lab?"

Sometimes patients think the teeth in dentures are a biologically organic substances that is similar to our DNA - actual bone substances. Well, if you have been wondering what the deal is.... LETS TALK ABOUT IT.

First off, all teeth used in dentures are not biologically organic substances, they are all pure INORGANIC. Meaning they are all made of plastic, or certain cases porcelain.

Now as a denturist, I do not personally make your set of teeth in my lab. Neither do most other denturist around the world. In fact, different companies around the world mass produce plastic (acryllic) teeth and commercialize them to dental health profession around the world. Basically, we buy your set of teeth from a specific company depending on the records we recorded from your appointment.

Usually a set of teeth ranges from $30 - $400. Yes $400! But of course these teeth look more realistic, and it all depends on what you're willing to spend.

It is quite an investment, but in the end this is your personal apperance, how do you want to be presented to your friends, family, and the public?
